We recognize that not reporting a sexual assault is a valid choice for survivors. We’ve built a platform that is designed for survivor anonymity, choice, and control every step of the way.
Our trusted partner organizations can offer survivors in their communities an anonymous, safe option to privately document what happened to them without having to report.
Mission
Provide survivors of sexual assault a private, anonymous space to safely document what happened to them.
Vision
We envision a world where every survivor of sexual assault is believed, treated fairly, and supported without judgment.
Values
Survivor-centered
Trauma-informed
Consent-driven
Community-guided
Equity-conscious
How it Started
When Rachel helped a loved one navigate whether or not to report after being sexually assaulted, she realized that not reporting is a valid choice.
It’s now become a mission for her to ensure that everyone who has been sexually assaulted has a safe, anonymous space to document what happened to them, without having to report.
Leadership Team
Rachel Juengel
Executive Director & Board Secretary
Rachel is an LGBTQ+ founder and a survivor of intimate partner violence that she thought didn’t count.
She founded Log Now Decide Later for survivors who feel that reporting won’t matter, won’t help, could cause more harm, or are hesitant to report because they know the perpetrator. She is partnering with organizations survivors trust, so they can better understand the barriers different survivors face to reporting and seeking medical, mental health, and legal services.
